The Origin

Why We Exist

Everest Information Technology was born from a frustration and a belief. The frustration: that Bangladesh's 170 million people — home to one of the world's largest concentrations of software developers — were largely consumers of technology, not creators of it.

The belief: that Bangladesh is ready to build world-class AI products — not just outsource development or resell foreign APIs, but actually own the models, own the IP, own the future.

Founded in 2025 by Naweed Rashid, Shahariar Tanvir, and AR Rafi, Everest was structured as a holding company from day one — sharing infrastructure, talent, and mission across multiple product verticals simultaneously.

Q1 2025

Everest Incorporated

Everest Information Technology formally incorporated in Dhaka. Initial team of 3 co-founders with shared GPU infrastructure from day one.

Q2 2025

Bottola AI Launched

Bottola AI went live as Bangladesh's first home-grown AI creative platform — image, video, and music generation at BDT pricing with bKash support.

Q3 2025

DeshiBot Launched

DeshiBot launched as Everest's second portfolio company — AI chatbot automation with in-house Bangla NLP, integrated into WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.

Q4 2025

Bangla NLP v2

Second generation of Everest's proprietary Bangla natural language processing engine deployed across both portfolio products, significantly improving accuracy.

Naweed Rashid

Chief Executive Officer

Naweed leads the overall vision, strategy, and growth of Everest IT. He drives portfolio company direction, investor relations, and the long-term architecture of the holding company.

Shahariar Tanvir

Technical Lead

Shahariar leads all AI model development and engineering architecture across Everest's portfolio. His in-house Bangla NLP and diffusion model work forms the technical backbone of both products.

AR Rafi

Infrastructure Engineer

AR Rafi manages the shared cloud and GPU infrastructure powering all Everest products. He designs resilient, scalable systems that let portfolio companies launch fast without reinventing DevOps.
